Schwinn Supports Project Rwanda - [Schwinn]
Rwanda -- October 18, 2006 --
Project Rwanda is focused on developing and delivering load-bearing utility bicycles to the coffee farmers of Rwanda, a country rebuilding its economic base and morale following the 1994 genocide. Project leader Tom Ritchey is partnering with Schwinn engineers to bring this utility bike to market for Rwanda in the spring of 2007. Thanks to the generosity of Schwinn, several Rwandan bicyclists were able to participate in the first annual Wooden Bike Classic on September 16, 2006.www.projectrwanda.org Photos: Gary Boulanger << Back to List Back to Top |
