Catching up with Simon Tabron - [Mongoose] Catching up with Simon Tabron England -- January 07, 2007 -- ad a really good session today at my ramp. The weather has been horrible in the S/W of England over Christmas so there has been no outdoor riding but I'm grateful to have my warm, indoor vert ramp! I had a bunch of kids get on top of the ramp and they were giving me trick requests every run which was pretty funny. Aside from a bit of vert riding and trying out my new road bike, I've been resting up due to the broken ribs I got at the beginning of december. They healed okay but my sternum has been really, really sore and uncomfortable. I've been consoling myself by playing guitar and I even played 3 songs at a show a few nights ago. I went to a band night for a friend's birthday and ended up on stage singing and playing 3 songs. It was actually a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to getting back to normal riding-wise, I have a ton of new stuff that I want to work on and get learnt before the contests start up again. Just hope I can stay healthy. It's ironic that I finally finished for the year but the last trick I tried broke a couple of ribs!! Oh well!
